1. What's the best way of getting to Hindringham?

The best way of visiting Norfolk is by car as unfortunately there is little public transport available and once you are there you will probably need a car at some point as shops are few and far between. The nearest mainline stations are Norwich and Kings Lynn and the branch line to Sheringham gets you a little bit closer. click here for detailed map.

And when I'm there?

Hindringham is a small village set in a very rural setting five miles from the famous North Norfolk coast. Journeys to nearby villages can be enjoyable walks and the area is also very popular with all levels of cyclists as this is a great way to get around.

2. What do I need to pack?

Linen, duvets and towels all provided. It may be useful to bring wellies or walking boots for the beach if wet weather threatens and possibly old trainers / sandals / beach shoes if you intend to be more adventurous.

3. Will I need coins for the heating?

No. Heating and lighting costs are incorporated in the booking fee.

4. Is there a phone on the premises?

No. The nearest call box is 50mtrs up Wells Rd and the following networks have all been known to have a fair reception at the Old Post Office (3, Vodafone, etc)

5. Where can I park my car?

There is secluded off road parking, next to the premises.

6. What's in the games cupboard?

Chess, crib, boules, cards, 'Who wants to be a Millionaire', 'Cranium', 'Trivial pursuit'.
